在网上看很多他们家的review,心痒痒了很久。

上个星期日，我终于有时间拜访Poco一趟。

抵达的时候，要仔细看才会注意到Poco的店铺。

低调的粉蓝+宛如童话故事里的门窗，让我还没踏进店就已兴奋不已。

室内设计。

简单带点英式复古的味道。

店内小物，当天带的配件，Menu & 窗口边摆设。

Menu serves mostly modernized Japanese food.

我们都吃了午餐才过去，所以只点了些 side order & dessert.

2图的chicken roll和4图的tofu cafe都很赞！！！别的地方都很难找到。饮料普通。

Poco位于比较清静的地方，来到这里仿佛忘了时间和城市的喧哗。很适合朋友们聚会或者小型party。

食物价格比外面稍微高一些，不过私房菜应该是这样的价钱了。

Test test Brunch

Many of you are not aware that I'm having a week's break right now. I'd consider this as a hard-earned holiday, when I resume back to work, my assignments & responsibilities in the company will be doubled or tripled. That will be next Monday's Monday blue.

Not having to worry about the alarm clock & cooking breakfast. I never knew these 2 simple things would be such a bliss until working life started.

So this morning, I dig out the mom's old oven that has been abandoned for like... 10 years, and tested it by doing a simple breakfast.

Good news: the oven is still working very well.

Bad news: well, a few. Firstly, I forgot to time myself, resulting in these blackened bread corners & overcooked egg. Secondly, my bread frame failed. So there you see, egg spilted over the baking sheet :(

On a more positive side, the overcooked egg has a crunchy texture and the herbs made my brunch tasted awesome~

I need more practice :P

Apple family

And the place to make this happen will as usual be:

beside the basin. Just in case I puke everything out.

Been down with fever & swollen gum for a week, thank God I got better this morning. Can't imagine having to go through this ratio & basin thing for another day.

The moment I woke up from my air-conditioned room, I had the urge to visit the washroom. I then opened the door and found the bf standing outside my room (about to enter to give me a surprise) with 24 white roses in a transparent glass vase.

I stunned for 5 seconds in my PJs and thick-framed spec, while the bf cleverly said:"happie valentine!!!" in time.. .hahahahha...

What an awesome way to kick start our first valentine :)

The end of.... 2010

1/2 of my December.

Christmas dinner, presents, family gatherings, food explorer, kids running around, birthday bash....

I was very tempted to not write any closing for my 2010 since it has passed for almost 3 weeks. But then I was reminded that this blog was not created mainly to gain visitors, but as my personal journal. One day, when I look back in the future, I can sigh in relieve and say:" ahhh... all these has finally came to past;"

Finances

2010 has been a completely different year for me. First, i graduated. Then, I started working. Needless to say, there comes the stress of financial independence. However, now i spend what I earn, save what i earn. The feeling is a lot better than getting money from my parents. Yes, it was tough surviving with a fresh grad's salary, but at the same time I got to learn to plan my finances wisely. Start small, and eventually when it grows, I will have no problem managing money.

Family

Also, 2010 was full of family gatherings as compared to the years before. More meet ups with my maternal family, more kids fight, more Audrey, more good food, more sofa talks, more toys encounter (mostly Dominic's toys @.@), more adults getting crazy with the kids' play, more cleaning after the kids played, and more bond~

BGR

Not only would I like to thank God for his blessings in my career & family, but also my relationship with Jacob the soulmate. We've gone through so many ups and downs, we rubbed shoulders among ourselves, but in the end we were also the only one who could comfort each other. All these good & bad moments have shaped us to become a better partner. Thank you soulmate for always standing by my side, rain or shine :)

Of course, these are not the only things I feel grateful for for the past 12 months. Thank God for ministry growth, awesome CG & church members, last but not least, my BFFs who are ever ready to share joy & burden. This section may seems to be shorter but that's because I am rushing to get myself a shower now, lol. I assure you that all these people have been playing different yet important roles in my life, until now.

A million thanks to daddy God & those who've made my 2010 was a memorable one. Now I can kick start my 2011 post, well hopefully :P

Long lost treasures

While i was doing spring cleaning just now... yes, on a Saturday morning. Not because I have had enough sleep, but after doing all the laundry I suddenly have the urge to clean my room, especially all its cupboards & wardrobe.

Okay where was I? ah.. while i was doing speing cleaning, i found my long lost treasures:

See these shiny "bejeweled" hair clip bows? They were like my Iphone or maybe LX5 back in the 1990s where I was still a child. By saying this, i feel so ~~old~~ mature already. haha.

They were so precious for a small girl like me, that i kept them in a hidden place in my room. Until spring cleaning was done, everything being opened & raided, I finally found them again. I'm surprised that they look just as new as how I remembered them to be.

The funny thing is, I tried to recall where these little things are few months ago. Did i gave them to someone? Did i threw them away when i was in my teenage? Or did I kept them somewhere in my room that I have yet to discover?

Now I know the answer :)

So start raiding/ spring clean your room. Who knows you might find something. CNY is coming real soon anyway you don't want your mom to scream:" CLEAN YOUR SMELLY ROOM RIGHT NOW" at the very last minuet right?

I'm glad I did~

p/s: I know I should be writing about Christmas, new year eve, or at least some new year resolutions. But that will be another long post I suppose. Maybe tonight :)

Weekdays phobia

Yes, weekdays have became a phobia to me. Not only Monday blues, but the entire week.

For many days, the moment I open my eyes, I feel like taking emergency leave just to escape the super heavy workload in office. OTs are like lunch now, everyday will happen. Public holiday has became a pain, for I have to process double or even triple workload to cover back whatever that needs to be settled during the holidays.

And though I am the top performer in my team, for some reason I just don't feel the sense of belonging in this company. In fact, the more I work with my so-called-seniors, the more I begin to lose my respect towards them. This is no good :(

As if these are not bad enough, I realized my mind is often at its "shut-down" mode after work. In this week alone, I :

NEARLY pushed into the male washroom
washed my contact lens' casing with my lens still in it
shampoo-ed my hair twice in a roll
wanted to take a pump of bodywash but ended up pushing off all other toiletries to the ground like a bowling game
take more than 5 seconds to recognize faces that I've already knew

Now, this is double no good T.T

Haihz, life goes on. What keeps me going every week, is the random food discovery with the soulmate.

I love having caffeine drinks with some pastry, in a not-so-local cafe *if you get me*, talking nonsense / ranting / planning our future / surfing the net with Iphones.

Can Sundays not pass so fast?

p/s: Sigh, my eye bags are getting worst, all thanks to 8 hours of daily PC usage. Time to really plan for a prison break.

Then how to buy shoe?

To be honest, I've been asking this question for the longest time *role eyes*

Whatever shoes I bought, 8 out of 10 of them will bite me. Better still, the remaining 2 which don't bite are slippers. Sigh. That's why I don't fancy buying shoes. And that's why most of the time I'll be seen in the same pair.

However, shoe being shoe, they will get teared apart someday. Especially when you do distance walking everyday, like me. So, a few pairs of comfy shoes of mine have been ripped off their base ever since working life started.

I couldn't explain how panicked (more like.. pain in heart) I was seeing them got broken one by one. Part of me feeling broken-hearted, another part of me was worried what if I cannot discover other comfy shoes? Am I going to allow my feet to be bitten every single day? wear slipper throughout all occasion? store up plasters at all time? or just walk with my bare feet?

I was so desperate for another pair of comfy shoe that I walked from office to Pavillion, to Isetan, to Sungai Wang after work, hoping to find my feet another good carrier.

Guess what, I found none. But because I was so desperate, I settled for a I'd-give-it-a-try-shoe from Vincee. The shoe wasn't exactly comfy, but it is made out of good leather (reasonable pricing too). I tried it on and did some walking around the shop. It was all good, except that its back part has some rubber thing attached so that particular part was a little tight.

Looked all angelic and decent, I was so convinced to buy it. In fact, I actually did.

That was my BIGGEST mistake!!!!! It bites It bites!!!!

After walking for 10minutes from the LRT to my office, I ended up with 2 dissimilar Doremon plasters and a sinked heart T.T

Oh gosh.. now I can only pray for my cotton crocs (yes, the one being accidentally ran into a pool of rain water) to survive longer.

No~ I don't know....

Now it makes perfect sense of why I haven't been stepping on the weighing scale for quite some time.

I'm afraid that what if the weighing scale reveals a number which my brain cannot accept, I'll get stress. Stress... then eat more T.T

So, what they said was true, some things are best remain unknown.

I shall stop buying, but continue eating the existing food *still in denial*

Chatime II

After drinking Chatime on an almost-daily basis, I've concluded that I like Red Bean Milk Tea the most :)

And these were not the total cups of what I've drank for the past 2 weeks, how laa like this....

It's like my daily dose of caffeine, soaddictiveitellyou....

Few days ago, the soulmate was telling me to fast sugar for 1 day, I bet now he's going to say:" Honey, fast the whole month~" T.T

My stomach has been upset since morning, I hope it will get better later.

I'm leaving the office at 5pm. sharp. In other words, just in a few minutes time. My mind has been blank the whole day. Heartache is so severe for the don't-know-how-many times.

How many times do I need to deal with all these? I thought I was out of the hole, but looks now I've just fallen deeper... It's a path less taken, but nothing extraordinary happens.

They said, it is during difficult times that you'll get to see through a person. Agreed.

Now, its time for me to leave. I'm gonna stroll around KL before heading home. Let some walking clear my mind off.

Melacca

So... during one of the Raya holidays, the bf and I randomly decided to drive ourselves to Melacca instead of the usual dating routine.

The whole journey's point form would look like this:

** massive jam ** lost our directions (but Thank God for Iphone, haha) ** crowd everywhere ** makan makan; jalan jalan ** snap photos ** sweaty, tired, but happie :)

I got to monkey around with the bf's DSLR. It was so heavy. After a while, I told him:" I no more energy d..." and then kept the heavy thing aside lol...

Bravo to my soulmate/bf who drove all day long yet tamed the impatient & fatigued me.

One thing not good about DSLR (apart from being too heavy hahaha) is that... you cannot hide your flaws. Look at my eyebags + freckles -.-'''

My 3Gs looks more like an antique to me now, all thanks to Iphone 4 laaa. Steve Job, this is so unfair laaaa how can you not take care of your "old" users as well :(

Anyhoo, my iphone served me very well during this trip. If it wasn't for iphone, we might have ended up in Johor.

Soree ar, this one I must interrupt. Never ever visit this famous chicken rice shop *the photo here is to warn you guys*. They served us the most horrible chicken rice I've ever tasted in my life. Totally over-rated. They have lots of branches in Melacca, so beware.

Babycakes!!!

When I was about to leave my office this evening, I received the bf's message asking me to meet him at the LRT station.

As this was not pre-planned and nothing similar happened before, I was so nervous don't know what he was trying to do. Almost ran all the way from office to KLCC's LRT... *hahaha*

And when I saw him, this was handed over to me....

Honestly, my mind went ding dong-ed for a while, couldn't react. I thought it was a jewelry box or something... until I saw the words: Babycakes.

Babycakes!!!!!

Without hesitation I knew it must be those macaroons which I've been making noises over the weekend, lol.

Because Babycakes used to close on Sundays, while I'm always busy with church on Saturdays. Thus, it is almost impossible for me to head over to their shop.

But God blessed me with such a sweet bf, who'd sacrifice his lunch hour just to get macaroons for me :)

Awww... I wish my camera could do a better job in capturing these gorgeous french cookies :(

I've tried the third color from top, with caramel filling. It was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, superb~ And I really like their natural coloring as compared to those electric blue or fuchia pink macaroons I saw in other websites.

Chatime

近日的工作很烦心。

上头给压力，同事们不是MC就是EL，OT了好几天，

忙到连上厕所的时间都没有 *如今才真正了解这句话*

觉得自己快烧焦了 T.T

结果星期5，不管还有多少差pending,

我lunch完便独自走去Pavillion买杯Chatime。

他们家的饮料近期被很多blogger打得很红，

我也就半信半疑地下单order。

第1吸，茶味香浓。

果然如他们所说，茶是现泡的，而且很讲究温度。

第2吸，甜度很微。

这点是我最喜欢的：）只带一点甜，不怕糖份超量。

太好了，又多一个健康的选择，

不必只赖着Snowflake。

说到Snowflake,

我是越来越不满意了。

食物时多时少，时好时坏，

已经无法保持以往的水准。

俗语说得好：

不敢说100%喜欢，不过比以前更喜欢自己就对了。

现在的生活很安稳。

从小到大，上天把一切平凡的都赐我。

平凡的脸蛋，平凡的成绩，平凡的身家。

也许是太平凡了，我的内在附带些许自卑。

成长过程当中，最令我不愿提及的莫过于中学时期。

相反与别人如何怀念中学，

每每看见FB里的旧照都让我害怕下一秒就看见当年的自己。

多少愚蠢，多少羞辱，多少自卑，

现在敲打着这份文章都让我觉得不安。

大学时则为感情伤心，为功课没觉好睡，

已经没时间自卑。

奇怪的是，心灵竟比中学时期健康得多。

如今我还是很平凡的毕业了，找了份平凡的工作。

生活就如我所说的...安稳。

但我常在想，我的生活就只有平凡和安稳两个字可以行容吗？

不可能。

上天一定也在我身上种下了无限的潜能，

他给与每人不同的天资，就看他人能不能发现和发挥。

我也许还不清楚自己有什么过人的长处，

但我已大概看见4或5年后，我要站的方向。

不过说真的,每个梦想都有它的价格...

我现在的平凡，宛如在替这份梦想还钱，哈哈。

再多4 或5个365天，我可以不必逼自己起床，不必平凡地上下班，不必跟别人挤键运，还有很多的不必。不过最重要的是，可以爱穿什么就穿什么*兴奋中*

我看啊... 以后的自己要是看回这篇文章不知会骂还是笑 :P

话说回来，我还真的很喜欢现在的自己。

无论是对上帝，经济，家人，感情，还是工作方面。

当然，我不否认它们都各自还有很多进步空间。

活了23年，

生活虽没有很富裕，至少没有欠银行钱 :)

Salt

No, not Angelina Jolie's movie.

I'm talking about real salt, more specifically, organic salt. Those which did not undergo the process of bleaching.

So, one fine day, when my jar of facial scrub was "bottoms up" and I was too busy to get myself a new one, I had an "ah-ha" moment :)

Went down to mom's kitchen, stole a little of her Himalaya rock salt/ organic salt as most people commonly known, added them to my usual cleanser. Mixed them. Worked them on my face. Rinsed off with lukewarm water.

Cleanser & scrub work together, my favorite lazy routine :P

Anyhoo, this cheap & easy method works as good as other expensive facial scrubs, for me. If you'd like to give it a try, use rock salt instead of fine salt. Because fine salt will dissolve faster than rock salt.

Alternatively, replace salt with brown sugar. The only difference is: salt kills germs, which cuts down on acne; sugar moisture the skin. Based on my experiences that's it.

Don't touch my hair!!!

Since young, I hate going to hair saloons because my mom will tell the jie jie who used to cut my hair to chop it off real short, like really really short, boy hair in exact. All my "hard-kept" hair length will be gone in few seconds once I was dragged into the saloon. And you guessed it correctly, I'll cry after those hair cuts, hahaha. So the cycle goes on and on throughout my childhood:

grow hair -> *unwillingly* being dragged to the saloon -> cut hair -> super short hair -> cried -> grow hair -> *unwillingly* being dragged to the saloon.....

As I grew older, I finally got the "authority" to take care of my own hair. I happily explored coloring, highlighting, straightening and perming. Sometimes even adventurously tried out the wrong hairstyle T.T It was all good, except the fact that my natural hair texture is very fine, so whatever chemicals that I placed on my hair needed double effort on treatment repair. Likewise, whatever in-trend hairstyle that I've requested needed triple effort on styling. Ahh... those were the hazardous days.

Until two years ago, I stopped coloring my hair; One year ago, I got so sicked with hair saloons services that the frequency of me visiting one decreased drastically. I also started sticking to Asience hair product since then.

Half year ago, I began to cut my own fringe with only TV knowledge from 女人我最大 and head knowledge observing my hairstylist from the past. The first 2 times were not very successful, but as I adventurously chop off more, I finally got what I wanted. And then I moved on to cutting the rest of my hair, trimmed them to the same length.

So now I may have my time, money, as well as disappointment saved. Well, not to say that I do not have any disappointment cutting my own hair, but the exploration part weights heavier.

Having said that, I'm no professional yet. The best I can cut is still fringe, and the reasons of why I can easily cut my own hair without much training are because (1) my hair texture is very fine, remember? (2) I'm only cutting them to the same length, no layers or other dramas.

Okay, my hair story hasn't end yet, haha.

As I'd like to take full care of my hair like a mother wants to quit her job just to look after her little ones, I chose to self-color my hair. Was searching up and down for a reliable coloring product until I found Liese. Looked at its super tempting box design, I was instantly sold~

Girls being girls :P But really, Liese is from Japan, and we all know that majority of the Japanese products are good stuffs.

So, here, the outcome.

The root area is of lighter ash brown while the lower part is of darker ash. Not too bad for a first timer.

p/s: I'd still like to ask help from the saloon when it comes to curling *big time killer arggggg* / big occasions / when I am ready for a new change :)

Photoshop lesson...

FAILED :'(

Yes, photoshop lesson failed.

The bf spent one Sunday evening teaching me how to use Photoshop. So he demo demo, I couldn't understand, he demo again.. up to a point, he finished all for me haha, which were those combined photos you saw in previous post.

After he left, I tried exploring Photoshop myself. I didn't expect myself to be pro like Xiaxue , but I thought.. well combining a few photos wouldn't be a problem, yes? NO~ I tried recalling steps the bf had mentioned before but the result was nothing close. Then I began to click on every single button to explore explore a bit, guess what... I messed up the whole picture T.T

Not to say that I couldn't "un-do" those "damages", but I was just too confused with all the buttons here & there and I ended up not saving a single file. Sigh.

Therefore, for this post I do not dare to touch Photoshop anymore *for now*. I refuse to get angry over myself trying to figure out Photoshop *which I'm sure I will if I do* when I'm suppose to leisurely type out this post on a hard-earn peaceful afternoon. Yes, you read it correctly, afternoon~ I'm writting this in my office. Office pc didn't block blogspot, yay~~~

Opps, back to the topic. No Photoshop, then what? Paint, hehe. Photoshop represents university level, then Paint will be kindergarden level *hide face*. There's a Chinese saying goes like this:" Don't know how to walk want to learn how to fly", that pretty much explains my previous encounter with Photoshop, haihz. Better learn my ABCs with Paint before going into Photoshop.

And so, I happily explored Paint until I realized its limited functions. Cannot combine photos the way I wanted it to be also :( Within 1 hour, I declared "graduation" for myself from kindy level. Didn't do much with Paint, just some color adjustments &captions added:

p/s: The bf is trying to get me another not-so-complicated-but-has-all-Photoshop-functions software. Meanwhile, I'll just bribe him to help me with any existing Photoshop problems, lalala~

I was never an essay person. I always believe in point forms, clear & straight to the point. If you noticed, probably only 5% of my posts were essays.

Back in my schooling days, all the nota Sejarah & Sains of mine were in point forms. During University, my favorite examiner was Ms Win Nee because she was and is (until now) the one and only lecturer who strictly prohibit her students to write in essay form, everything needs to be in point form,. Now that I'm working, I constantly find myself writing emails in point forms. So far nobody has complained about me haha~

Today, because of time constrain I've a valid excuse to exercise my favorite point form once again :)

Ginger tea for a sicky Monday...

I wonder when was the last time Facebook & Gmail were viewed on my pc screen. If there's something I'd like to voice out regarding my current company, it'll be the super duper slow pc & limited Internet access. Yes, not even emails and MSN. Not to mention Facebook.

Every morning, from the sardine-packed LRT to the office, from the so-called-traditional cubical to the no-jeans-tolerance dress code. I can't help but to feel amaze at the fact that I'm now living the kind of working life which I've been trying to avoid as long as my memory held me.

Good times, praise God ; Bad times, pray :)

After going through 2 very intense interviews few days ago, I was in deep desperation for a new breath. Tones of application forms, interviewers, cold rooms and the same questions over and over again, I guess you could read my frustration.

Thank God, He reminded me of my dreams and vision, in a bookstore :)

And so, I do my part, let God do the rest. Which means, after sending off all my application forms, I let God do the rest, and I.. decided to work on a few mini Oreo-cheese, hehe. It's been a while since i last worked on desserts. Just a simple one~

Note: This is a chilled recipe (meaning no baking is involved) cause I don't have an oven.

Ingredients:

a tube of Oreo
200ml Emborg whipping cream
250gm Kraft Philadelphia cream cheese
4 spoonful of sugar (adjust according to your preference)

Not forgetting a tablespoon of vanilla essence

Before you start anything else, first set your cream cheese aside for "defrostation" purpose. Just so that when you need to blend it wouldn't be too hard for your mixer.

Split open the tube of Oreo and crush it as fine as you can. With or without its icing, completely up to you. I find not much difference though.

Spread your crushed Oreo evenly, not too much not too little.

Blend cream cheese, whipping cream, sugar and vanilla essence together until fluffy

Carefully spoon the mixture onto Oreo crusts, and chill them for at least 2 hours

Tadaaaaa~ Mini Oreo-cheese :)

Asia Conference 2010

Looks like I can never be an efficient blogger :)

I went to Singapore for 6 days last week to attend Asia Conference held by CHC Singapore.

Wasn't a leisure trip, 800 of us were placed in different hostel. The probabilities of us getting either a nearer or more comfy hostel were purely based on luck. Or perhaps how often we pray. Nah, just kidding~

I'd rate 6/10 for my hostel (Aces Lodges), thank God it was a lot better than the boyfriend's hostel *haha*, but still.. I'm too OCD about the toilets. Moreover, I couldn't slept well for most of the nights. Imagine sleeping with thin mattress and blankets which couldn't even cover your toes :'(

Almost 0 photo was captured during the conference, cause I was on duty as an usher in most of the services. Until the finale service ended, I was so K.O-ed that I couldn't even talk. Physically exhausted but deep inside, my capacity has increased!

This was the one and only photo I managed to capture in Asia Conference, Hall 8.

To look for friends or members we normally have to text / call.

In all 5 days we had conference from morning till night, with breaks in between of course. Therefore, 7-11 located beside my hostel was the only store which I spent most of my time & money on.

Addicted with their instant pasta, I had it for 2 nights in a row~! Rest of my room mates got influenced, and together gether we sapu-ed all the instant pasta until there wasn't one single box left in that 7-11 :P

During one the the breaks, we managed to try MOS burger.

*scrapped off MOS from my to-do-list after that, mission completed :P*

Sadly it was too tiny, only "qualify" for teatime.

Frozen strawberries which I was itching to try for the longest time!!!

Stuffed with vanilla ice cream and sealed with sugar icing.

Not bad, but I still prefer pocky~

Lesson learnt :

While you are reading this, my life has already gone through lots of transformation which I have yet to record down in this space.

The reason of "freezing" this blog for so long was either due to too much of transformation *which I do not know where to start my story from* or... the very unstable Internet connection :(

Hello peeps, greetings from home, haha :)

Referring back to my last post, I think instead of having no "kick" to blog, I'm now more to no "stamina" for blogging any longer because working life had officially started last week.

All I can think of after work is to go home, bath & sleep~ Which explains why you don't get to see me much at night on msn or fb.

My work place, me like it neat & tidy *except for rush hour hehe*

Ahh...not forgetting to mention about my encounters with all the macs in office, they got on my nerves the first few days but after a while.. now I feel very use to macbook instead of Blacksugar.

I have the urge to roll my cursor to the bottom or corner whenever I'm looking for something T.T

I love my workplace, with lots of food, macs, and funny little things.
I love its flexibility that most formal organizations fail to offer.

Most importantly, I love the freedom of casual dressing~ wohoo~

Having these funny colleagues actually make the office a pleasant workplace.

Short trip to the City of Lion

Bad news peep, I've lost my "kick" to blog recently :(

But since photos taken in Singapore were uploaded few days ago... well, let me just narrate a little.

To be frank, 3 days 2 nights were way too rushy for a city trip cause there're so much to explore. I'll be back in 1 or 2 months time, wohoo~

Traveling around Singapore is easy peasy. MRT can bring you to every corner of this little country, not forgetting to mention how easy is it to get a cab here. Aww... their cabs are even more comfy than my own car :P

今天穿上t-shirt, 直筒牛仔裤，帆布鞋再加个背包，整幅走天涯的样子塔Lrt下了趟茨厂街 :)

这次的路程除了走走吃吃，还有回顾一下我的记忆，其实还有更重要的任务：

寻找明年用的organizer
换取快过期的礼券
做批发价的research

一大清早，来碗生鱼粥就最好不过了~

在最不起眼的地方最容易找到好吃的食物，像这个位于巴刹（market)前面的面档就卖了很赞的 asam laksa & curry mee.

好久没来，许多店都变得陌生。
原来不止人在变，连物都在变。

终于让我找到了，是白色的：）
有点厚重，不过这是唯一一本白色的。

全新的organizer迎接2010。

自从进HELP Uni后，我学会用organizer来为自己安排/记录生活上的点滴。至今已经变成了一种习惯。有了它，生活不会乱七八糟~

To end 2009, I've more than 100 things to thank God for. Hence, I shall thank God for everything in my life.

Every single human, every surprise, every meal, every material stuff, every disappointment, every blessing, every scolding, every opportunity, every weather, every good hair day, every shopping day, every battle, every shark & wave, every misunderstanding, and everything.

If it wasn't for all these everything, I would probably not be who I am today, and I'm glad to be who I'm now, haha. Sounds a bit confusing yea? Anyhow, 2009 has been a good year for me, I'd classify it as 1 of the best years in my life.Not only did I completed all my new year resolutions, but beyond :)

Woah, I've been MIA for quite some time~

I bet most of you will not realize this post because nobody clicks on cheryldotlee.blogspot.com to check whether there's any update anymore :'(

There were so much to update but I just didn't have the time previously. Ever since final ended on the 15th, today is the first day I've time to really sit down and have all my deep thoughts typed out. And so, this post alone will covers my entire December :)

Hmm... where should I begin? Okie let's start with the last final paper shall we? The moment I stepped out of my last battlefield, I was attacked by various viruses, resulted in sore throat, fever, bone pain & headache :(

Having said that, I still went to snowflake with my classmates because it was all planned. Have to celevrate our last paper right right :P

Greetings from Chillax cafe :)

Thesis defense had just ended 2 hours ago, it was a smooth one. None of my worries became reality, despite having stomach cramp since last night. Everything was pretty much better than expected.

If I were to point out any flaws.. it'll be the tele-conference *because my co-marker is still at US*. They said it's tele-conference, but it was just simply web-cam, some more it was web-cam between my supervisor and co-marker only, duh~ Meaning I could only listen to my co-marker's feedback through speaker, very blury kind of quality.

Above all these, my thesis battle can now be labeled "full stop". Close file. Forever.

Countdown for 3 final battles:

Learning disability paper: less than 24 hours
Career guidance paper: 2 days
Industrial /Organization psychology paper: 6 days

Okie, time to prepare for tomorrow's battle.

可以说是乌云满天，只看见太阳的光环，却透不出一丝温喛。

心情说真的没有很好，担心的事情一堆。所幸的是情绪被我安抚得不错，控制不了的事先由他吧。眼看最后的战役已到，真的不得不收拾心情。

虽然说：“苦中一点甜”，我还是比较喜欢金色包装的口味。

这些都是笔记本。真是创意无限~
不过要我天天对着这样的笔记本...难免会失胃口，哈哈。

Woke up on the wrong side of the bed, feeling grumpy & moodless.
Did more researches on the assignment I avoided last night, but found little.
Feel as if there's a huge dark cloud shielding over me all day long, worst still, pouring rain on me.
Got stuck for 2 hours on KL road jam.
Got scolded for the jam which was obviously not my fault.
Unintentionally did something bad to a birthday "man". *I'm so so soree*
Ahh... 6 of them are bad enough for a Friday like this.
I shall name today my Black-Friday. Hmmp.

How how how... I've been asking myself this question since thesis project started, since I got my responsible part for Industrial psychology, since I'm graduating soon.

Life is pretty much different from the past now. Everything I do, it's related to the future, or for the future. Certificate is for the future, extra working skills are for the future, even assignments, we were given real life working situations to deal with. Ahhh.. brain cells also die faster :(

But on top of all these, I still think I'm lack of many. I'm not ready to enter the marketplace yet. Don't know what to expect, don't know whether my personal mission statement is workable, don't know whether my goals are really my goal.. haha.

Ouch, sounds so messy. I shall not further edit this post because it is meant to be messy. For as I'm typing it, I'm actually allocating some time for myself to run away from an assignment. Couldn't stand those stress out of it any longer. I've not slept well for many many nights, worrying and brainstorming.. Sigh... so much work yet to be done but I chose not to face them now. Am I crazy or what?

Plus point: deadline set for that particular assignment is tomorrow.

今晚是个悠闲的夜晚。趁着鲨鱼和海浪还没找到我前，让我悠闲地打篇华文post。

近期比较少update。除了因为没时间，我也不想将太多不开心的事留在这个空间。希望以后再看回自己现在所写的，不是一堆难过的内容。

我的时间很有限，我要从有生之年内记得全部美好的回忆。虽然说...不开心的事比较能够让人成长，不过成长毕竟是件好事。我的记忆要从成长这个点算起，过了这个点就被归类为好事。好事都值得被记起来。因为好事都是美好的回忆。

废话了一堆，发觉我原先要写的point不见了。也不知道是不见了还是带不出我心底的那把声音。算了，重点是，这是个悠闲的夜晚，我悠闲地听着歌，打着一篇华文post，在暴风雨还没来临前做最后的享受，哈哈。

另外，我昨天体会到食物中毒的滋味了。说得很快乐那样，其实真的痛到不行。肚子好比被利刀刺上刺下。偏偏当天有很多堂课上，吃了药死也得死回学校上课。还好药吃了2次就没大碍。这还算是不严重的食物中毒，严重的还真无法想象。

1年被蛇咬，10年怕井绳。如今我每天洗手的次数比喝水来得多，哈哈~

Sugar art, me likey~ Of all flavours I prefer the choc cupcake. The rest taste plain ordinary.

Me likey her sugar cookie as well, peel off all sugar icing before eating taste better actually. Same goes to the cupcakes. A minus-guilt tactic for weight-watcher like me, hehe.

Thesis report 1 had come to an end.

Looking at this thick stack of papers, I would say it contains not only black printing inks but also uncountable efforts, sweat, tears, brain juices, stress, sleep debt, hungry late nights, breakouts....

Now I'm set free from jail, yay~~~

1 month of carefree holiday before Thesis 2 comes hit me right on my face. *don't think don't think first~*

Btw, I'd like to thank all smart friends who've helped me with Thesis 1. You saved a statistic noob on earth, haha.

Was sick for 4 days before I went to the doctor. Tahan until I could not tahan anymore only ask help from doctor, my usual sick-routine, hah. But this time I gave up earlier cause thesis report needs to be submitted this coming friday, need a conscious mind to work with.

Still, Mr doctor was very happie to see me. I bet he's happie to see all his patient, we're like money to him~ It's the season of sickness now, nobody will be happier than the doctors, lol...

Thesis presentation

Last night:
1. was driven crazy by my gan jiong-ness
2. busy phoning my smart friends to confirm what SPSS tests to run for thesis
3. disturbed another smart friend on MSN regarding the same matter -.-'''
4. continuosly practised my presentation until my brother feel like asking me to shut up, haha
5. edited the slides over & over again

This morning:
1. steadily drove to Uni
2. suprised by Wisma HELP's new token system
3. realized I FORGOT to print out my slides for the co-marker *insert thunder sound effect*
4. ran up level 9 to print the slides
5. after I clicked the "print" button, the staff immediatly closed the printing booth leaving me stunned on the ground @.@
6. hopelessly ran down to my presentation venue.. haihz
7. found that the co-marker didn't use projecter *meaning I MUST print out the slides for him*
8. ran up to level 9 again, praying hard for the printing booth to be opened
9. yay, the booth was opened gain!!! printed my slides, ran back to my venue
10. *grasping for breath*
11. went in to present
12. my co-marker is really a nice man, needless to say, everything went on well :)
13. I'd rate myself 13/15 for thesis presentation, hohoz..
14. freaked out by Wisma HELP's parking rate. It increased 3 times higher!!!
15. woah, such a long list... are you still reading? haha...

After thesis presentation:
1. finally got time to cut finger nails, hehe

2. Did a little makeover for Blacksugar. A rough idea first, will update bout this when I found more materials.

3. Re-arange all books to get prepared for next semester. Woah, didn't realize I own so many books...

Of all subjects I've least interest on Counseling. Their theories are way too subjective.

Hah... I used to be very hardworking last time :P

4. Found my mini poladroid!!!!!

5. Able to sleep soundly without worrying anything :)

After completed my last paper for this semester, I bathed Tofu.

Yeap, you read it correctly, don't need to keep rubbing your eyes la. No tv no Internet no sleeping, but bathing Tofu was the first thing I did after finals.

Scrub scrub scrub till I breathless, sigh.... sign of maturity.

See~~~ My Tofu is so leng zai again, hohoz.
Btw I'm not behind bars ok, these are door grills.

Anyway, I've fulfilled my exercise quote for today after bathing Tofu, wohoo~~
I'm sooooo happie, even better than going to gym :)

Was very surprised to receive this from her but nevertheless, it made my day :)
Needless to say, I continued with Ethic's revision *sambil on Facebook, haha*

钱包需要增肥；
我则需要减肥。

钱包增肥步骤：
1. 拒绝所有的buffet邀请。
2. 看见buffet优惠当作看不到。
3. 逛街尽量粘着妈妈。
4. 看到合心水的衣服，吹眠自己看错了。
5. 别人一物三用，我一衣十穿 *好像夸张了些*
6. 把credit card & atm card跟水一起冰进雪柜。
7. 没事就留在家当宅女好了。
8. 继续研究省钱的方法。

我的减肥计划：
1. 饿了就玩cooking mama，以免又受零嘴主宰。
2. 晚餐后立刻刷牙，死都不碰肖夜。
3. 当快餐店透明。
4. 把豆腐泊到鬼死酱远，然后走很长的路才到达课室。
5. 每星期准时到泳池报到。
6. 怎么不喜欢都得定时帮豆腐洗白白。
7. 吃饱后立正个十分钟。
8. 确保以上的计划有在进行。

p/s: 死期到, thesis跟我打招呼了...

the more I realized teenagers nowadays are of no difference with us, young adults. Amazing isn't it? Before I go deeper into this topic let me first make clear the definitions of teenagers & young adults.

Teens = age 13-19
Young adults = age 20-25

Of course, this is purely my personal definition. No offence if you're 21 yet still consider yourself as a teenager alright.

Ok back to the topic. So I said I realized teenagers nowadays are of no difference with the young adults. They are in trend, they shop for branded stuffs, they make up *even better than you and I*, they wear pupil enlargement lens, they have the latest gadgets, they dine in fancy restaurant, they are seen in many of those junkyard sales, they club... you name it.

Viewing their fancy life I couldn't help recalling mine. Heh, not that I'm being envy or pitiful towards my teenage life but I'm just amazed at how different the world has become. During my time back then, it was either tuition at Kasturi/ Perfection, at school or at home. I learnt how to survive with 200 bucks per month, Tees, jeans & sneakers were my fashion. Hmm... maybe some skirts once in a blue moon. The only gadget I owned was a lao ya Nokia 3330. Makeup? what's makeup? lol...

Seems like the world is spinning faster and faster. Technologies bloomed like mushrooms after rain, roads have got more cars day after day, people are dying fast at the same time, people are maturing fast.

Now I wonder... in the future, will my kids ask for Adidas/ Crocs when I bring them to Bata? Will they throw their tantrums when lunch's at McDonald's and not Carls Jr? Will they buzzed me to buy Oreo instead of Hup Lee butter biscuit? Will they drag me into GAP/ Guess kids instead of kikilala?

Aduh... future kids.... *shake head*...

So tell me again, how many kids do you want in the future?

p/s: still, I'm thankful that my mama didn't spoilt me when I was younger. Otherwise I'll never know how to appreciate things I've now :)
