The end of.... 2010

 

1/2 of my December.

Christmas dinner, presents, family gatherings, food explorer, kids running around, birthday bash....

I was very tempted to not write any closing for my 2010 since it has passed for almost 3 weeks. But then I was reminded that this blog was not created mainly to gain visitors, but as my personal journal. One day, when I look back in the future, I can sigh in relieve and say:" ahhh... all these has finally came to past;"

Finances

2010 has been a completely different year for me. First, i graduated. Then, I started working. Needless to say, there comes the stress of financial independence. However, now i spend what I earn, save what i earn. The feeling is a lot better than getting money from my parents. Yes, it was tough surviving with a fresh grad's salary, but at the same time I got to learn to plan my finances wisely. Start small, and eventually when it grows, I will have no problem managing money.

Family

Also, 2010 was full of family gatherings as compared to the years before. More meet ups with my maternal family, more kids fight, more Audrey, more good food, more sofa talks, more toys encounter (mostly Dominic's toys @.@), more adults getting crazy with the kids' play, more cleaning after the kids played, and more bond~

Not only would I like to thank God for his blessings in my career & family, but also my relationship with Jacob the soulmate. We've gone through so many ups and downs, we rubbed shoulders among ourselves, but in the end we were also the only one who could comfort each other. All these good & bad moments have shaped us to become a better partner. Thank you soulmate for always standing by my side, rain or shine :)

Of course, these are not the only things I feel grateful for for the past 12 months. Thank God for ministry growth, awesome CG & church members, last but not least, my BFFs who are ever ready to share joy & burden. This section may seems to be shorter but that's because I am rushing to get myself a shower now, lol. I assure you that all these people have been playing different yet important roles in my life, until now.

A million thanks to daddy God & those who've made my 2010 was a memorable one. Now I can kick start my 2011 post, well hopefully :P

Notes of my Beautiful Sundays

I was never an essay person. I always believe in point forms, clear & straight to the point. If you noticed, probably only 5% of my posts were essays.

Back in my schooling days, all the nota Sejarah & Sains of mine were in point forms. During University, my favorite examiner was Ms Win Nee because she was and is (until now) the one and only lecturer who strictly prohibit her students to write in essay form, everything needs to be in point form,. Now that I'm working, I constantly find myself writing emails in point forms. So far nobody has complained about me haha~

Today, because of time constrain I've a valid excuse to exercise my favorite point form once again :)

These pretty sum up my absence. Of course, there were more than these, but me.. being the Photoshop noob would need the boyfriend's assistance in every single step. I didn't manage to create more combined photos by myself :'(

While you are reading this, my life has already gone through lots of transformation which I have yet to record down in this space.

The reason of "freezing" this blog for so long was either due to too much of transformation *which I do not know where to start my story from* or... the very unstable Internet connection :(

Some may be aware of what's happening in my life via the infamous Facebook, while some don't. But today, I'm not here to tell grandmama story. Let the photos fill up the blanks here & there, and then hopefully from there you get a more complete picture.

Besides all these, I've resigned from the previous company.

Don't ask why, I believe I was placed there, and then was taken away for some reasons. My perspectives have been challenged, they struggled, and were transformed. I truly thank God for the opportunity to discover what I really want to achieve in life. And I believe this will be a whole new turning point in my life.

Woah, I've been MIA for quite some time~

I bet most of you will not realize this post because nobody clicks on cheryldotlee.blogspot.com to check whether there's any update anymore :'(

There were so much to update but I just didn't have the time previously. Ever since final ended on the 15th, today is the first day I've time to really sit down and have all my deep thoughts typed out. And so, this post alone will covers my entire December :)

Hmm... where should I begin? Okie let's start with the last final paper shall we? The moment I stepped out of my last battlefield, I was attacked by various viruses, resulted in sore throat, fever, bone pain & headache :(

Having said that, I still went to snowflake with my classmates because it was all planned. Have to celevrate our last paper right right :P

Without having much time to rest, I worked my head off for:

I'm considered a graduate provided all 4 papers of mine can pass. Results will be released this coming January. Fingers crossed, I'll pass I'll pass~

My face was infected with don't-know-what few days ago. The whole face was covered with some kind of pimple-look-alike-but-not-pimple thingy. SCARY.

Look at the amount of medicine I got from the skin specialist @.@ Thank God my face recovered like... 80% before HTV's shoot, phew~

Behind Kepong's Carefour there's this Nelson Tan @ 鸟生蛋cafe which serves awesome dessert. I can only recommend you its dessert because I've never tried their main course before.

Coconut jelly something...

This is the 1 I STRONGLY urge you to try. Jeng betul! Me alone can finish 2 portions every time I visit the cafe. Priced at RM 3.90 per portion, worth the money.

I'm not advertising k, really good stuff baru recommend :)

Cut it off and be welcomed with thick flow of warm chocolate sauce. Slurps~
